Service contracts

Raförninn offers contracts with defined uptime warranty 

All our contracts have a defined uptime warranty.  This is the most meaningful unit of measure for the quality of service, both for us and the customer. 
Types of equipment under service contracts:
The company´s goal is to provide professional maintenance and consultant service in the field of Diagnostic Imaging.  Our current service contracts cover maintenance and QA of:

  • X-ray units
  • Computed Tomography
  • MRI
  • Gamma Cameras
  • Mammography
  • Ultrasound
  • PACS
  • Bone densitometers  
  • (Film processors)
  • (Film Viewers)

    Our fees are linked to the actual uptime of the equipment covered under our contracts. We provide fast response in acute situations and a service engineer carrying a mobile phone is on standby 24 hours a day 365 days a year backed up by 2 to 3 engineers.  Response time (the time from the service call until an engineer is assigned to the problem) should be less than 15 minutes.
  • A standard service contract includes the following:

  • All service work

    • PM work
    • Acute service
    • Field modifications

  • QA support and at least a yearly QA evaluation.
  • 98% uptime warranty.
  • Penalty is 8% of the monthly fee for each 1% the uptime is below the warranted uptime.
  • Access to a web-based service management system, MaintainPro

    • End-user access
    • Service history
    • Uptime history

  • Access to a web based quality management system, Quality Control Center

    • Management of user QA activities
    • Management of service QA activities Direct reading access for regulatory bodies

  • Reviews of new options or modifications offered to the customer.
  • 15 min response time (The time from the service call until an engineer is assigned to the problem).
